Terms of Service

Welcome to TimeStreem. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Apple Licensed Application: Your use of the App on Apple devices is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), except where these Terms provide additional or clearer rules specific to TimeStreem.

1. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age shown for TimeStreem in the App Store in your region (see the app’s Age Rating on the product page; it may be 18+ or another tier depending on storefront and local rules). By using the App, you represent that you meet that requirement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
2. The Service
TimeStreem provides tools to visualize the passage of time, record milestones and reminders on a personal timeline, and read curated in-app articles in the Discover section. Features may change as we release updates.
Current version (please note): Core timeline and life-visualization data are stored locally on your device unless and until we offer optional account, cloud sync, or similar features and obtain any additional consent required by law. In-app editorial content is provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only.
3. Account & User Conduct
Unless we explicitly offer sign-in, you may use the App without creating an account. If we later offer accounts, additional rules may apply and we will update these Terms.
You agree that you will not:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or App Store rules;
- attempt to harm, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App, bypass technical limitations, or scrape our services in an abusive way;
- use the App to harass, threaten, or infringe the rights of others;
- upload or introduce malware or interfere with other users’ devices or networks.
You are responsible for activity performed on your device under your control (for example, entries you create on your timeline).
4. Not Professional Advice
TimeStreem may display dates, counters, progress-style visualizations, and articles about time, habits, or well-being. None of this is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. For personal decisions that affect your health, finances, or legal situation, consult a qualified professional.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
If the App does not display paid subscriptions or in-app purchases, then no subscription fees apply under these Terms for the current build.
If we introduce paid features (for example, TimeStreem Pro), they will be offered through the App Store, with prices, currency, renewal terms, and any free trial shown at purchase. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase:
- subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS), at least 24 hours before the end of the current period where required;
- payments and refunds are processed by Apple; refund requests must be directed to Apple support according to Apple’s policies.
We will update these Terms and in-app disclosures when paid plans go live.
6. Intellectual Property
The App’s software, UI design, branding, and bundled editorial content (except where noted) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the App or our proprietary assets without prior written consent, except as allowed by mandatory law or the Apple EULA.
Your content: Information you enter (such as titles, dates, and notes on your personal timeline) belongs to you, subject to your device backup and these Terms. You grant us only such rights as are necessary to operate the features you choose (for example, storing and displaying your entries on your device; or, if we add sync, processing solely to provide that feature as described in our Privacy Policy).
7. Content & Safety
The Discover section includes curated articles. If you believe any content is illegal, infringing, or harmful, contact us at simzdevelop@163.com with a clear description and, if applicable, a link or location in the App. We may remove or update content where appropriate.
You must not use the App to generate, store, or distribute unlawful or infringing material through any future sharing features we may offer.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss of data (for example, if you lose your device or delete the App without backup).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, directors, employees, and partners) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that do not allow some of the above limitations, our liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App or in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) the minimum amount permitted by law.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or stop providing the App or any feature where we reasonably believe there is a legal, security, or abuse risk, or as required by law.
You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App may erase locally stored data depending on your device and backup settings. If we offer account deletion in the future, we will describe the effect on synced data in the App and in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, where required by law or for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, in the App or on our support page). Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance, unless applicable law requires a different process.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence provide otherwise.
